The University is committed to the health and wellbeing of its employees. The following benefits are available to benefit-eligible employees.
Employees and their dependents are eligible to participate in the Remodel Health/Healthcare Solution. Employees will partner with Remodel Health to determine a healthcare solution.
A Dental/Vision plan is available for employees and eligible dependents.
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are available for appropriate healthcare and dependent care expenses.
USF provides its full-time and part-time employees with basic life insurance (AD & D: Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance).
USF offers a generous 403(b) retirement account. Benefit-eligible employees can open the account upon hire and begin making pretax contributions. After a full year of employment, the university will match contributions up to 8% and give a 2% gift.
Paid time off is accrued based on years of service and position. It accumulates from year to year with a maximum accrual of 1 ½ times the benefit. Employees can begin using their time off after 90 days of employment.
