The University of Saint Francis regularly recognizes the hard work, commitment, and impact of its faculty and staff.

Honoring Our Mission

Each year, Saint Francis employees are able to nominate an employee (staff or faculty member) for the Franciscan Spirit Award, which celebrates a faculty or staff member who exemplifies the Franciscan Values.

Monthly, a staff or faculty member who consistently demonstrates one or more of the Franciscan Values in their daily lives is nominated and selected for the Values in Action Award.

Celebrating Milestones

Saint Francis employees are recognized for their duration of service and other milestones at our annual Employee Recognition Event.

Recognizing Excellence

Each year, students nominate faculty members for the Leepoxy Award. This award honors those who strive to make a difference in the lives of others through their commitment to the student learning process and the vision of higher education.

Our Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award annually honors an exceptional faculty member for excellence in the classroom and leadership within the Saint Francis or Fort Wayne community.

Each year, the Saint Francis’ Staff Excellence Award recognizes a member of the staff for their innovative leadership of the campus community and their commitment to the process of improvement.
